SUMMARY:

In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating multiple pieces of equipment, performing daily preventive maintenance and safety inspections, and using various hand tools and measuring devices such as files, de-burring tools, pneumatic tools, wrenches, levels, tape measures, pie tapes, micrometers, calipers, hammers, and punches. You will need to read and interpret drawings and blueprints to produce quality parts, follow directives from supervisors and group leaders to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction, and comply with safety and housekeeping rules. Additionally, you will organize and maintain shop order locations and adhere to 1st and 5th piece quality inspections.

Vice President, Sales & Marketing
Location: Abingdon, VA

Hapco is seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Sales & Marketing to lead all sales and marketing efforts for our pole products. This executive role is responsible for setting and achieving sales goals, driving revenue growth, and ensuring product pricing aligns with both profitability and market competitiveness. The VP will oversee regional sales, marketing, and inside sales teams, as well as manage key customer relationships and strategic sales initiatives.

This position is based at Hapco’s headquarters in Abingdon, VA.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage all sales and marketing functions
• Direct Sales Managers and support their efforts to grow accounts
• Oversee customer service, order entry, inside sales, and pricing strategies
• Develop and implement strategies for new market opportunities
• Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure exceptional communication
• Foster a collaborative and results-driven team environment

Qualifications:
• 5–10 years of leadership experience in sales or marketing, preferably in a related industry
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field
• Proven ability to lead teams, drive strategy, and deliver results
