CNC Operator-Machinist Tech II

Will effectively and efficiently program, setup and operate multiple CNC and mechanical machinery including Lathes, Mill and Brake Presses. The machinist will work in a fast-paced collaborative environment challenged with variable product and order mixes ranging from one-off production runs to longer runs of multiple days while maintaining high quality and on time delivery. The machinist will be responsible for all programming, setups and general attributes of CNC and mechanical machining processes. CNC Certifications and/or 5 years’ experience. Controls Engineer (Mfg. Eng. Dept.)

Self-motivated individual who will work across a variety of functional groups that are directly involved in engineering, product development, and implementation plus with international contract manufacturing partners. Skill sets must include business related computer literacy, analytical problem solving, excellent verbal and written communication, and multi-task oriented skills.
Strong manufacturing engineering skills with a solid ability to effectively research investigate and present information. Experience with CNC equipment and understanding of fabrication, assembly and shop math, material processes, using and designing tools, fixtures and gauges. Excellent working knowledge of PLC required and Industrial PC experience preferred, Microsoft Excel and Micro Soft Project a plus. Excellent communication and organization skills are an absolute must. Willingness to brainstorm with dynamic engineering and manufacturing team. “Outside the box” thinking required.
A minimum of (5) five-years Controls Engineer related experience and/or training or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A 2-4-year technical degree in a related field with an electronics emphasis is required.
Lean-Mfg. Coordinator (Mfg. Eng. Dept.) (Black Belt preferred)

Continue a LEAN culture using a hands-on approach to develop, implement and manage LEAN principles which provide continuous improvement to eliminate defects and waste.
Must have demonstrated mechanical aptitude and machine operation experience including a solid understanding of manufacturing process. Above average computer literacy including Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point etc.; strong analytical, problem-solving and multi-task oriented skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, effective conflict management skills plus excellent interpersonal and leadership skills are required.
A minimum of a B.S. Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering; or a business, science or technical discipline. Certification in Six Sigma LEAN methodologies. A minimum 3 to 5 years LEAN manufacturing experience required. Experience in project management and production cost analysis is necessary. A strong commitment to the LEAN Philosophy is mandatory. Prior experience leading & implementing operational improvements in a manufacturing organization.
Quality Receiving Inspector

The Quality Receiving Inspector will focus on the day-to-day aspects of quality assurance in the manufacturing process. The inspector will make decisions regarding the acceptability of our product. The inspector must have adequate skills in hand held measuring devices and be computer literate. The inspector must have excellent interpersonal skills to resolve issues that arise. Skill sets must include computer literacy, analytical problem solving, understanding and reading basic hand held measuring equipment, understanding and interpreting blueprints, and multi-task oriented skills. High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent with a minimum of 2 years of college and 2 years of quality related work in a manufacturing environment or related combination of experience, training, and education.
