New Policy: Shipment Receiving Instructions

Concealed Damaged ? Missing Contents in Shipments — Hapco is changing its notification policy on damaged or missing items. The new policy allows 30 days from receipt. We understand 48 hours notice was difficult to adhere, and in those circumstances enforcement of the policy was lenient. With the new 30 days policy, customers have ample time to provide notice and no exceptions will be made. The 30 days policy will be strictly enforced; 30 days will be 30 days. It is important that all shipments are inspected immediately for concealed damaged or missing items, and any damaged or missing items are noted on the bill of lading or delivery receipt before accepting shipments. Due to rapidly increasing costs, we will no longer deviate from our policy. We appreciate in advance everyone's commitment to the new 30 days policy. This change is effective immediately.
